Yoga brings me so much joy, that I decided I needed to make it a big part of my life.

I discovered yoga while in Sydney, Australia. I took a 30 day challenge and immediately felt the benefits in my mind and body. Later, while living a very sedentary life while studying abroad in Japan, I missed the joy that yoga brought me. I thought:

"Why do I spend so much time doing the things that deplete me, when I could be doing what fills me up?"

This was the spark of inspiration that gave me the courage to impulsively sign up for a yoga teacher training in Rishikesh, India - 30 days immersed in Ashtanga Yoga, with expert teachers. I now run my own online yoga studio, Homegrown Yoga, and teach in-studio sessions in Auckland, New Zealand.

I am based in Auckland, New Zealand. I teach in-person classes at Gribblehirst Community Hub in Sandringham and at Yoga Collective in Parnell. I am also available for 1:1 sessions to help you dive deep into your practice, and develop a personal design for your yoga journey.

Each month, I offer a 90 minute Mini Morning Retreat in Auckland that includes a healthy breakfast, which provides a full yoga experience - postures (asanas), breathwork (pranayama), and meditation (dhyana). You'll leave feeling nourished, and rejuvenated.
